Triumph Tool services the metalworking industry in Southern Ontario by our Head office in Guelph and our Branch in Woodbridge (Greater Toronto Area).

Triumph History & Experience

Triumph Tool was founded in 1978 and shortly afterwards was purchased by Ernie Duffy setting Triumph on its course as Canada’s leading distributor specializing in metal cutting tools and related niche products. Ernie had an illustrious career in the industry spanning some five decades and has recently retired. His children now manage the company although the elder Duffy is still involved in strategic decision making as the CEO. Triumph proudly remains entirely owned by the Duffy family.

Over the years, we have developed a level of experience that is unsurpassed in our area of specialization.

Our Triumph Brand, for example, fits into the Good category whereby we offer a comprehensive selection of USA Manufactured high quality commodity Solid Carbide and High Speed Steel Tooling.

Triumph in the Community

Triumph is a Corporate Sponsor of the MS Society. We are actively involved in fundraising events such as the SuperCities Walk for MS in April and the Carnation Drive in May. We also provide volunteers for various support activities throughout the year. We were a recent recipient of the Barrier Free award from the City of Guelph for our efforts with this organization.

Triumph is a Corporate Sponsor of the Cancer Society, Guelph Hospital Foundation and the Red Cross.

We encourage our staff to donate blood to Canadian Blood Services on company time.

ISA’s goal is to help members increase sales, decrease expenses and increase profitability. Our President John Duffy currently sits on ISA’s Board of Directors.
